A Clean Filter = More Profit for You!

The EnduroVac is an extremely durable and superior industrial vacuum, providing the power and resilience to withstand the toughest of jobs. Despite it’s hard exterior, filtration must always be handled with care and maintenance to ensure maximum performance from your Enduro. Below you will find the simple steps that need to be taken to ensure you get the most from your filter and can therefore increase your profit margin!

Depending on when you bought your Enduro, your main 5 micron filter may be located in the top hat of the drum, or in the Enduro filter housing. We have sourced superior filtration for the Enduro which offers high filtration efficiency and longevity when maintained correctly. That is, if adequate care is taken to maintain your filter through essential daily cleaning, you will minimise the risk of it being damaged or worm prematurely due to lack of upkeep.

How can cleaning your filter save you money?

The real question you’re wanting to know the answer to – how is taking the time to maintain my filter going to earn me more money?

Its simple really, maintaining your filter will safe you money in the long run as your filter will last longer. This means the frequency of needing to purchase replacement filters will reduce, meaning less money out of your pocket. Furthermore, a clean filter can improve productivity and reduce downtime. That is, if you don’t clean your filter often, you are not regularly checking the integrity of your filter (which will diminish rapidly if its not being cleaned!), therefore, you won’t know when the filter is dirty or damaged. This affects productivity as a dirty filter can cause loss of suction meaning jobs can’t be completed efficiently. Furthermore, because you don’t know the condition of your filter, productivity is affected through increased downtime spent waiting for a new filter to arrive or being unable to work due to blockages caused from ill maintenance of your filter. This reduces your ability to work and make money for your business.

Luckily, we have ensured the cleaning and maintenance process for the Enduro is as simple and streamline as possible to ensure it doesn’t unnecessarily cut into your working hours or valuable time isn’t taken up trying to work out how to do things. We have managed this through implementing a QR code on our Enduro systems. This QR code provides on the road access to the operations manual, instructional videos and more so you’ve got the info there when you need it.

Our goal is to help you get back to the work that really matters.

Cleaning your Filter – Step by Step

For your convenience, the step by step guide for cleaning your filter have also been outlined below. It is recommended the filter is cleaned daily for optimal maintenance and longevity of your machine.

It should also be noted that when cleaning your filter, its advised to periodically check the integrity of your filter. If any holes, cuts or malfunctions are found, then it’s time to change your filter. New filters can be conveniently sourced through AIV.

  1. Remove the filter from the top hat or filter housing by simply removing the securing bolt and sliding the filter out
  2. Shake the filter to remove bulk dirt/debris that’s lose – DO NOT hit the filter against the ground as this will cause damage
  3. Clean the filter thoroughly with a standard garden hose – DO NOT use a pressure washer
  4. Once clean, shake excess water and leave to dry overnight
  5. When attaching the filter back to the top hat or filter housing, the bolt must be tight enough so the filter is unable to swivel. In saying that, make sure the bolt is not too tight as this can cause the bolt or bracket to lose it’s thread and snap.
